One foot is exactly 0.3048 meters. Multiply feet by 0.3048 to get meters, or divide meters by 0.3048 to get feet. Ten feet equals 3.048 meters. This tool uses the international foot.
Enter feet and inches correctly
Feet-and-inches notation is not a decimal. Five feet six inches is 5.5 feet, because six inches is half a foot. It is not 5.6 feet. Combine the measurement before entering it, or convert the whole length into inches.
